I went to the Mesa Arizona Temple yesterday to get a couple photos for a client in England.  While I was there I decided to take some photos of the temple itself, and the Sun came out right before I left.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

The Wave! Very nice. I want to get out there this year. Did you have any troubles getting a pass?

Some of you are aware that my daughter swims on a competitive swim team.  Their team hosted a Grand Prix this last weekend, of which I spent a majority my Thur-Sat volunteering at.  For the local swimming scene, this was a pretty major deal, as there were numerous Olympians in attendance, but I was somewhat surprised at how little this was covered by the local news.

Anyway, between my stints of volunteering, I pulled my camera out and managed to take some shots...

Here's one of our local hometown hero from last year's Olympics in London: Breeja Larson

Another where I almost got the framing right on this, but I missed it by...that much.

Stop for just one minute for a sip of water and the freeloaders just hop on board.  8)

Very Creative...I like it!  ;D

Thanks. I can't tell you how many times I have ridden past that frog and never thought to do this. Yesterday I was just tooling along and thought it could make a humorous shot. Road construction made the positioning imperfect, but now that I have done it, I'll go back and try it again under better conditions.
