Playing around with some bare incandescent filaments...I was really intrigued by the smoke patterns generated by the burning filaments.  Between the bright light of the burning filament and the smoke immediately surrounding it, it appears to have an almost liquid form to it.

Stopped off in the Denver area to visit a buddy otw home from Oshkosh.  Had a chance to squeeze in a quick flight in his Remos around and just over the front range so naturally, a high POV had to lead to this:

Very Cool Dave...

BTW, I now have a combo trigger that besides lightning, can also trigger on sound or if a laser beam is broken.  So, if you ever want to experiment with "on contact" shots, let me know!  ;D

Jay,

Thanks.

Would your trigger happen to be a Triggertrap?  I bought one of their original boxes (in lieu of the iPhone app & dongle), as part of a Kickstarter campaign a while back.  It's a little clunky, but it is capable of triggering off of light, sound, laser and has an auxiliary input option too.  Like I said, it's a little clunky, but it does offer a variety of triggering options and a good range of sensitivity and delay adjustments for each.

Hey guys, been a while, not much for aviation in Maine, but here are a few non-aviation. Got my first credential for a NHRA event in New Hampshire for the Mello Yello Series for the site I am with, SportsPageMagazine.com.

Very cool image Jay. It's got the "mad scientist" feel - kind of a Dr. Frankenstein gets a camera  ;D
