155s ain't no joke.  You can actually track the shell downrange with the naked eye.

I've seen photos that caught the shell exiting the muzzle on both these and M-109 Paladins...

Pretty impressive stuff.

Can't imagine it would be too hard to catch.  Artillery crews are very loud and clear with their commands, so you've got good aural cues as to when to start firing off a burst.  Seems like a high burst rate and a high shutter speed should do the trick.

And the Paladin is a true thing of beauty.
