Here's hoping both of get well quick. I've had it 8 days and just starting to feel better. James hit the Doc if you have work, it does not seem to respond to home treatment for me.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Great photograph Ned. You always seem to do a great job especially technically.

If its any consolation Jeff I'm paying for my trip to the wild. My voice is nearly gone and I'm hoping my home remedies will get it jump-started by Wednesday for my scheduled tours.

I think just about all of us have been sick recently. I am finally getting past the respiratory crud I've been dealing with for two weeks, the wife was sick as well. Many people at work have been sick, and a gal I know who teaches here in Wickenburg said her class is half the normal size. It's everywhere.

Anyway, awesome pics guys. Ned, your falcon pic is badass. I have been seeing hawks every damn day with less than a handful of exceptions since last November. I love the predator birds, and they seem to be everywhere this year.

Oh! And the Vultures are back.  8)

Heading up to Alaska next week and with all the solar activity slightly hopeful to do a little aurora hunting. Have not photographed them on digital before though.

Very nice capture Chris - I never knew the ball compressed that much at contact. Crushed is correct for sure.

Just in case you missed it, this is what the I-10 looked like on Friday morning as I was being shunted off toward the 87.  It took me two hours to get here (AZ-587 Exit) from the I-10 and Chandler Blvd...
I should have arrived at TIA around 750am .. Instead, I ended up at Irvington about 945am.   :'(
