Nice Chris. How did you manage to get so close?

I have about five Hummingbirds that visit my backyard and none of them seem to be afraid of me.  This one in fact has landed on my finger before when I was standing next to the feeder being very still.

Put red lipstick on and they'll try to drink out of your lips (um... so I hear).

Needs the Sigma 200-500 f/2.8.  That lens that comes in a lovely shade of Tactical Green...

Nah.  That devilishly handsome rogue needs a BushHawk with a camo-wrapped 800mm lens.

This is how we spent our New Year's Eve day, on top of the Mogollon Rim in the freshly fallen/falling snow.  We had the whole hill side to ourselves.

Pretty long walk back up then, huh?

(Actually looks like a great way to spend the day.)

Agreed.  Can't wait until my kids are a bit older.  My daughter LOVED the snow we got in Mesa.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
