CHROMED CLASSIC

The CAF Arizona Wing's Beech C-45 returns to Falcon Field after several months on the road on tour.  I've been after this angle on the Twin Beech for a long time and am very happy to have finally got it.

Our family car in 1969.  My father won it through a contest they had where he worked.  He managed a company that was the Southwest Distributor for Lear Jet 8-track stereo systems among other things.  Photo was taken on one of our Sunday rides around the valley.  The B-17 in the background was used in the making of Tora Tora Tora but had since been painted with fire fighting markings.  There were some others there painted similarly.  Notice that there is no fence between the car and the B-17.

OV-10A 67-14699 (FAC 2219) - I think this was the second Colombian OV-10A to go through the Marsh upgrade program.  Just a wee bit of Photoshop involved with this image.  Can't believe this was over eight years ago!

Very nice shot Chris, I'm still looking for my best shot of a Chinook, looks like you found yours. Beauty!

Thanks Harvey that's a very generous thing to say, thanks

RAINY-DAY BLUES

I haven't taken a shot like this for a while, but this MD500 was too handsome to pass up, even if it was shot through a fence in a rain shower at an ISO that is way too high for the 50D under any conditions.

SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST

I asked Bill Oz to play the role of Cary Grant in this image, but he declined.  Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he blew it.
