Two of the natural wonders of Mesa.  Red Mountain and the AH-64 Apache.
This morning seven of these Ft. Bliss Aircraft stopped thru Falcon Field on their way home from training in Calif.

^^^^ Superior image Chris. You've really upped the quality of your photography in the past few months. Very well done sir.

One very minor critique. I'd consider cloning-out that small green refraction "dot" on the airborne Chinook to keep it from distracting the viewers eye. Just 2-cents from the purple haze guy  ;D

Same critique.  Almost chose this as my 2nd POTM nom for the month, but the lens flare helped me break a mental tie between this and another worthy image.  Cloning out the green dot and maybe some surgical but restrained use of the burn tool to even out the shadows on the bird in the air would really help this image out.

Great feedback I was thinking the same thing, now how would I go about or what would be the best approach for fixing that with lightroom?

Thanks guys.  It was really looking "iffy" on the departure.  First it looked like they were going to depart straight south (backlit), then they turned around and took off to the north (tailshot), but then they banked around to the west and gave a great front-top-quarter shot.  Glad I ignored the voice in my head screaming at me to relocate.
