The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Just a heads up... there is an Italian registered AW-139 at Willie doing hot weather testing.

^^^ Killer head-on shot Joe. It really accentuates the unique shape of the 'Swallow'.

This appears to be a reproduction that was constructed by Legend Flyers (later Me 262 Project) of Everett, Washington. My quick research indicates the original Jumo 004 engines have been replaced by General Electric J85 engines.

Now that is cool! Bet it climbs like a rocket with J85s (CJ610s). They really got the design right.  Pretty good for a first try I'd say.

F-5N Tiger II - Note the ex-USAF number 76-1528 now written 761528.  Does anyone know if these were re-designated as F-5Ns?

In that case...heading modified.  Here's another question then.  Are VMFT-401's F-5s, the ex-Swiss ones, still designated as F-5Es?  Thanks Felipe.

I think they're all Ns now.  If I recall correctly, the AF serials were for export to Switzerland under an FMS contract, and these F-5s never flew with the USAF.

This fuselage was sitting around the ramp last year, I believe it was destined to be some sort of trainer

Chandler-Gilbert CC's Lear 23. This one still had a Mexican flag last year and is painted in the colors of the defunct SARO
