Wish I had a more dynamic shot of this bird, but the pilot rolled it pretty far down the runway before lifting off.

Not sure what shape they're in mechanically, but IAR certainly keeps their Herks looking really darned good for their age.

Definitely not my best shot, but I was determined to catch these guys leaving last night.

The sunset yesterday was around 1720, this photo was taken at 1737, and these are the camera settings:

  • F-stop: f/7.1
  • Exposure time: 1/15 sec.
  • ISO: ISO-1600

The pilot had his blinker on for ages and only committed to making this left turn after four or five false starts.   ;D
