Sky King 737-200 departing Willie this evening.  I'm expecting these aircraft will return in the days following the Insight Bowl.

Last day of 2009 @ Willie.
1. Sky King 732.  Former Hooters aircraft, if it wasn't obvious.
2. Nice surprise today - the L-39 from down in Casa Grande showed up, did three touch-and-goes, and then headed west.
3. Beautiful V-tailed Bonanza that showed up just as I was leaving.

Saw Arnie and his L-39 out bopping around Stellar.  He did a couple T&Gs over here as well.  Guess when you have one of the nicest toys on the block, nobody gives you grief for going against reccomended procedures.  (Per the A/FD...T&Gs are "Verboten" as are Practice Approaches into Stellar.)

Leaving Willie today, Thanks for the heads up Joe

Awesome shots, Jay!

James, Cessna has a Citation maintenance operation at Willie, and it's fairly common to see aircraft taxiing by with the skin of the engine cowlings removed.  That said, I've never seen one departing or landing without one.  Very cool catch Jay.

Excellent shot of the CAF's Twin Beech as well.

Thanks Joe...

Is that Twin Beech an AZ Wing resident?  Don't remember seeing it before.
