TAKING THE WIRE

Spent some time in Tucson this week with Ned and Paul Dunn.  When the Strike Eagles returned from the first sortie of the day, one aircraft declared an IFE and held over the mountains with his wingman until all other aircraft recovered.  He successfully engaged the arresting cable (accompanied by a shower of sparks, see attached image below), and the runway was back in use by the time we got back from a quick lunch over at Luke's.
