I really hate to see aircraft in this condition, but there is a lot of history here.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Interesting info on that C-27 being part of the DOS AirWing.  Wonder if they were going to modify them into spray aircraft like the OV-10s.

Ever-so-slightly different angle than the one James posted in the C-130 thread.  At first I thought this was one of the local CSAR birds, then I saw it was much lighter and thought it might be a white Coast Guard one.  So I'm thinking "AWESOME!," because when do we ever see USCG Herks in Arizona?  Then as it got closer and I saw it was totally bare-metal, I got even more excited, because when do we ever see bare-metal C-130s anywhere?  Blah blah blah, here's the darned photo:

Here's my contribution on the naked C-130.  As you can see, she was already starting to pass when I finally got my camera/lens working properly.  I guess that gives my shot a different perspective than the others.

It was cool to see this, you don't see bare-metal C-130s very often.

Wow - had a great day in Tucson again, shooting with Ned, James & Joe.  We got to enjoy quite the A-10 festival, with a Compass Call thrown in for a cake topper.

Wow, nice catch there Ned. Interesting that it still has the N-number instead of a typical U-28 serial like most. They come in all sorts of paint schemes from wild to o.d. grey and lumpy-bumpy. Well-done!
