Thanks Thomas.  Now I just need to figure out how to post directly to AZAP and a much lower rate of entry :-)

AzAP General Information / Farewell to Flickr
November 12, 2018, 01:16:58 PM
To All

I don't know if anyone cares, but just in case you might, I just deleted my FLICKR account which resulted in all my photos being deleted.  There were just too many undesirables posting objectionable material for my liking (folks posting a FAV/comment and when you check to see who they might be, all you see is material I don't want to be associated with).  I will keep in touch with the AZAP folks but will cease Flickr style social media posting.  Thanks to all the AZAP members who have visited my Flickr pages and FAV'd and/or commented on my photos.

All the Best

Vance (aka Wingsnstuff)

Thanks Harvey.  Me too!  It's fascinating what you come across when you take the roads less travelled.  In this case int was historic Route 66 in New Mexico.

I wonder how much they had to up-rate the engines to off-set the drag cause by all the bumps and antenna branches they've hung on this Guard Rail?  Nice capture Ned.

Gorgeous Viper image Joe.  Wow!  Cover shot for sure.  I miss read the comment above and initially thought it was Scott's image until I saw it again with an explanation.  Wow, that's a beautiful image.

Nice capture Joe.  Marine Corps reunions are lots of fun.  I had the privilege of photographing the Marine TBS 1-77 reunion in 2015 (a four day event in Quantico and DC).  They've invited me back to shoot their next reunion in Pensacola, Florida.  This one will be at the National Museum of Naval Aviation.  I'm really looking forward this opportunity.  Two of the Marines in your photo look very familiar.  I wonder if they were TBS 1-77 classmates.  I'll be back in Arizona for a month during August.  We leave next Friday.

Congratulations Joe.  That's quite an honor to be among the "Worlds Best".  That's definitely rarified air!  Well earned.  Your images are exceptional.

Nice set John.  I remember the F-100s flying out of Luke back in the early 60s.  There use to be a picnic ground on the northwest side of the base where you could go at watch the jets.  I remember the F-100s were so loud one could hardly stand it, but it was awesome to see and hear them take off and recover.  It may also have initially contributed to my significant loss of hearing :-)

Thanks Harvey.  We were waiting for the 4th of July fireworks to start and the sunset on the warf was too much to pass up.  Thanks again and I hope you had a very special Independence Day.  Susie and I are coming back to Arizona for the month of August.  We should arrive on the first and plan to be in the general area for the entire month.  We leave here on July 27th and head back to SC on August 31.  Maybe we can link up while I'm back in the Copper State.  All the best and thanks for the feedback.
