The Yuma Sun used a few of my photos in an online slideshow about WTI.  If you go through the photos you will get a sneak peak at a few of the photos I have yet to post here.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Looks like the Yuma Sun shooter could use a lesson in shutter speed management...   :-X

Nice job Matt!

Cool.  Any compensation, or just exposure?
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

Great job Matt. I hope there was compensation, 'cause no one wants you exposing yourself  ;D

Thanks guys!  No compensation, just exposure, but it has laid down a foundation to work with them again in the future.  We'll see what comes of that!  ;)

With encouragement from Jay and Larry Grace, I wrote a "How To" article for ISAP (International Society for Aviation Photography) on b&w conversions that has been placed on their new website. It is also my understanding that this article will appear in the ISAP's monthly newsletter in November.

Don't know if this really qualifies, but I received this notification that a photo that I previously (2009) gave permission to use, is now part of the on-line site.  I took the shot while taxing to the terminal on a Southwest flight.

Hi wingsnstuff,

Back in 2009, you kindly gave us permission to include your credited photo in our Schmap Phoenix Guide.

I'm writing now to let you know that we've recently completely reformatted and overhauled our Schmap Guides to include real-time local buzz for events, restaurants, bars and more:

http://phoenix.schmap.com

Your photo in the new Real-Time Schmap Phoenix Guide is at:

I hope you like the changes we've made - if you've any comments or ideas, please do drop me a line!

Best regards,

Emma J. Williams

Thanks Chris.  It wasn't a spectacular shot, but they liked it.
