Congratulations Brian, good work.

Thanks Chris and Lynn,

It's pretty remarkable considering that they reject about 75% of my submissions.

Great shots! Very good choices for their page.

Really fine captures of the Mercury.  You know you got it right when the folks that operate the plane contact you for permission to use the shots.

Great job! It's not easy to capture this much white without some blowout on the brightest areas. I'd say it is a near perfect exposure.

So I just earned the 'Honor Roll' badge on FlightAware ("Uploaded a photo featured as a staff pick").

I had to look, but eventually, I found the photos:

Who else is on FlightAware?  It seems like the site has a couple of challenges: i.e.- there's no easy way to see which photo(s) earned which honor(s), no easy way to view my uploaded photos, etc.

I'm also don't know how to feel about some of their Terms of Use: "You grant FlightAware a worldwide, royalty-free, unlimited, irrevocable license to use, transmit, distribute, and sell any submitted photography or media content You acknowledge that the owner of any submitted content continues to retain ownership to the submitted content."

You gave your photo away, They can make money on it, you get zero.
