Wow Joe.  It looks like your were standing on the runway.  Great shot.  Was this inside the fence?  You must have some serious good connections.  It is a beautiful airplane and you got all of it with clarity.

Wow!  This  one looks like it's fresh off the production line...no squadron markings.  Great shot.

You don't concentrate on risks. You concentrate on results. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.

Nice shot, Dave!  It looks like this one ended up with Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122) "Flying Eagles" NAS Lemoore.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

A Super bookin it out of Kirtland AFB/Albuquerque.

There are some decent shooting places at this Base/City Airport.  This was from a designated viewing area near the South end of the runway.  There is also another one closer to the other end.

@flynavy (U.S. Naval Air Forces) on Twitter said, "Nice shot!"  I told him that I would relay his message to the photographer.

VFA-115 Eagles planting at El Centro. The wrench stenciled on the nose is a maintenance award (usually within the CAG).

That was one of the best aspects of the whole trip.  Miss it this time?  Don't worry as another bird will be along in 3 .. 2 .. 1 .. NOW!   ;D
