I think that's the first Skycatcher I've seen "in the wild."

Looks like they definitely made some tweaks vis a vis the prototype that's been on the airshow / trade show circuit.

I'm guessing it's fun to fly but I wonder how it will perform in the higher density altitude situations around AZ in the Summer time?

This one is serial number 16200017 so presumably it's the 17th one built. It's based at DVT. I've seen it several times on the north runway, but that is too far away for me to get decent pictures. That runway is closed this week, so I was able to get shots of it taking off from the south runway.

The LSA category is hot these days, with more and more manufacturers getting on the band wagon,

N5204U (Nuthin For Ya) in the fleet at Falcon Executive.  I just got checked out in this puppy over Xmas.  Not sure how summer will treat her, but the climb rate this time of year is through the roof.  Fun!

Is this a great paint scheme or what?

Kind of like the Braniff 727 in Alexander Calder designed colors: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?regsearch=N408BN&distinct_entry=true.

Jay,

The block rate is currently $110/hr, so probably $120/hr regular rate.
