That is exactly when and what I was up to on the B-36.  Every time I had my composition and settings nearly sorted to what I wanted they adjusted their lights!  I took several shots, but I couldn't quite thread the needle between the dark and illuminated sides (plus background).  But, I am still intrigued by the possibilities.

Tried something a bit different this time around, I guess the correct term for it would be "Lightpoaching."  Basically, if people were set up on one side of the aircraft throwing a bunch of light on it, I'd position myself on the opposite side to get the outline effect,  Definitely something I want to try more of out there.

I love the idea, and the term "light poaching". Nice shot.

^^^^^^ Excellent work Rob.  I really like the subtle balance you achieved between the ambient and artificial light.  The dark shadows/areas around the edge of the airframe blends wonderfully with the transition from sunset to night.  FWIW, I think you did the Mystere proud.
