Sadly mother nature didn't play ball, but this somewhat odd 737-300 dropped into Carswell Field while I was on Spring Break. Neat to finally see the CATBird!

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

This reminds me of going to see the freak show at the AZ State Fair in '70's. I was afraid to look, but ultimately could not avert my eyes  ;)

Excellent catch Nick.

THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL

By no means an original shot, but one I've seen before and wondered "How'd they do that?"  And now I know.

Such an awesome shot!  I've seen many of these shots before, but this one is by far the best.

Agreed.  And for those familiar with earning their private pilot's license, this really drives home the concept of 'turns around a point'.

Thanks guys.  When I have some time this weekend, I'll put together an animated .gif of a bunch of frames from that turn.  Pivot point stays more or less consistent throughout.  Looks cool while forwarding through the set.

Cool shots Ross, these photos are enhanced by the clouds, very nice.

Thanks Harvey. the clouds were photoworthy by themselves. The aircraft were a bonus.
