Got to shoot what turned out to be the last home game for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football.  Operations for the league were suspended this week.

I'm not a big fan of snakes Ned, but this is a great photo, well done.

Paul Larson

What a beautiful capture of such a beautiful snake Ned.

Ry and I attended the car show out at the Pavilions this afternoon.  The first thing we noticed is that summer is coming on quick!  The second was that we need to go back with our cameras again soon.  Here's a few from my new The Art of Cars Collection.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Playing with my 50mm that I got for my birthday at Butterfly wonderland. Definitely a fun challenge trying to shoot something like butterflies with a prime lens.

Ry and I spent last week up in Utah at our family cabin.  On Wednesday, we drove up to Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park, and spent the afternoon and evening in the park taking photos.

I was able to attend the US Grand Prix in Austin and I came back with more images than I need to combine with my shots from NAFEC that I haven't really been ableto look through yet.  Anyhow, it was a challenge but it was so much fun that it was worth shooting even if the angles were a bit limiting.

Great images, John. What a thrill that must have been. Back in day I went to the USGP at Watkins Glen and loved it.

Thanks, Ned!  It is far from ideal for photography due to lighting, distance, and limited composition options (depending on where you end up shooting from), but it is a hell of a lot of fun.  Also, since I am a long term F1 fanatic, no matter what happens behind the camera I still have the race itself!
