Some shot from NHRA in February before the season was postponed.

Can you provide a size reference as to how big it is?  The four not-quite-symmetrical round things look like the bottom side of a button, so maybe it's some sort of input/joystick base?  The nylock nuts holding on the four supposed buttons give the impression this whole assembly is reasonably large.  The capacitors, chips and resistors (none of them surface mounts) also lend to this being a relatively large assembly.  Contradicting that perspective;  it also looks like it's sitting on a granite counter...thereby implying it's a bit smaller than the initial impression may suggest.  ds

Any context as to where it came from?

"Go to an aviation photo shoot", they said. "You will learn lighting techniques", they said.

Well, I'm rather disappointed with my actual aviation shots, but I did get some decent zombie chick on my motorcycle shots.

Bad day for a photo clinic. Great day for a ride.

Guess I should process my shots from that "clinic", Scott. Yours look great!

Here's one I took on the Verde Canyon Railway. This is one of 5 functioning FP7 locomotives in the world. A beauty from a bygone era when class and design were paramount.

Very nice autumn photo Paul. The only way we get that in Phoenix is with spray paint. ;D

My wife put up the Christmas tree last week. I had fun with long exposures.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Ned, catching that Crested Caracara landing in the nest with food is outstanding, beautifully timed.
