When I was riding in a van from Kansas City to Kirksville, Missouri last week, we were passed by a very long convoy of Corvettes, all with Wyoming and Colorado plates, headed east on US-36.  Turns out they were headed to the 20th anniversary of the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  Would have gotten photos, but my camera was in my bag in the back of the van.  Pretty cool to see.

And congrats on the new wheels, Scott!
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Very nice Scott, I just sold my 2006 coupe last week, I had it for 7 years and only drove it 2000 miles. That is how I could afford to buy a new 300mm 2.8, one toy for another. Enjoy your Z06, it's a beauty!

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Wish I knew you were selling one. I would have had a look at it.

Thank you Scott & Jeff. There is a holding pond for irrigation water on the north side of Northern Ave. at the approach end of runway 21R at Luke. I pulled in there waiting for the Generals C40 to land and this lone Cormorant was in the water and he didn't appreciate my company. I took two shots and he took off affording me an opportunity to shoot his takeoff. I never seen a bird use his middle wing feathers like a middle finger before. I guess he didn't like his photo being taken.  ;D

Fantastic action shot of the cormorant Harvey.  There is so much to like about that image.  :)
