From January, along I-40 near Williams, going about 55mph thru windshield of my truck.  After being stuck in Chino Valley for 2 days because I-40 and I-17 were closed and the boss said go to Flagstaff anyway.

Ive never beep up to Apache lake at Sunset! Will have to at some point after seeing your (quite stunning) photos.

And that road to the dam is by far my favorite drive. Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks...  I found several spots that I'd like to go back to much closer to and just after sunset.  I guess that fact that it's winter helped with the sun angle.  These didn't turn out half bad considering we were out there between 1230pm and 4pm...

I missed that one, it was right in front of me to but I was shooting with my 400mm at that point    I also was shooting the pro stock car that rolled but stopped right before he flipped it
