Well, I tried drawing the little Elephant too but it also came out looking like a DC-2 so...

Just to keep the images coming...

Jay love the Pictures and I see you have changed no watermarks.... Whats up?

Jay Beckman

Depends on how and to where I output images...

Non aviation stuff I simply want to show on the web is 1024X with the text only watermark.
Aviation stuff specifically for the web (like here on AzAP) gets the AzAP watermark.

I generally don't link off Zenfolio anymore (which is were the three lines of text watermark comes from) because the share sizes are either 800X (too small) or 1100X (too big.)

It only takes me an extra :30 or so to make a 1024X version of something and Zen allows unlimited storage so I have a Private gallery I link from.

Clear as mud, eh?

Nice Vance!  It even has wings!

This was something I'd never seen before.  A very short (only about a 5 degree arc) and very intense rainbow within one shaft of rain.  Captured looking east-ish from the north entrance to the Wupatki / Sunset Crater Loop Drive near Flag:

The upper left isn't cropped off .. That's simply where it faded away.  It was a double when I first noticed it but I couldn't get the outer bow to read well.  Eventually the outer faded and this inner just popped!
There's also a landscape-oriented version on my Zen.

These are my first real crack at anything non-aviation related. I'd love to get some tips if you have the time. Thank you!!

Especially the mean looking one with the gun.  He could probably kill you with his little finger and only uses the gun when he's up against Godzilla.   8)

Makes you wonder if/how we've employed trackers in Afghanistan and elsewhere.  Seems like a remarkably useful skillset in the hunt for tier-one bad guys.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
