Wandering around outside Yellowstone (wife and I were up there for the eclipse), this majestic creature flew right over our truck and landed in this tree where we could still see him/her!! Very glad there was a shoulder right there, because I was pulling off the road regardless!! Lol!!
I'm guessing it was a her... Quite large and broad... This was the only eagle around at the time - that we saw anyway. Ned?? Can you tell from this shot?

This eagle was actually shot with my trusty 7DMkII/100-400MkII... It was more handy than "the beast" at that moment.
This image is a fairly aggressive crop of the original.
