KING LEAR

To me, bizjets just don't get any sexier than the early Learjets.  My earliest aviation-related memory is that of watching early-model Learjets streak past my bedroom window when I lived just north of Palwaukee Airport (now Chicago Executive) in Wheeling, Illinois.  Seeing these birds takes me back.  Hard to believe the Lear 25 is coming up on fifty years old.

Joe, both shots from Falcon Field very nice. I really like the wet copter with the Pipers all lined up below. The sight of something wet in the Valley is unique. Nice light on the departing Gulfstream.

At Falcon Field on May 7, 1971:


Boeing B-17G  44-83575 Yucca Lady was used by the Air Force for atomic weapons testing at Yucca Flats, Nevada. Valley Scrap Metal of Phoenix, Arizona bought it in 1965. It flies now as Nine-O-Nine.


Former Pan American Boeing S-307 Stratoliner NC19903 was one of ten 307s built.
