Nice shot of the Golden Eagle Joe, looks like they used C-5 chocks, he won't roll over those. :)

And this one... "I think the 500mm plus 1.4 TC might have been a bit too much lens!"

Looks just about right to me!

Caught MitS in some nice light on my way home from work the other day.

First time I've shot with film in over 20+ years. I finally got around to running a roll of Fuji Acros B&W film through the Hasselblad 500CM I purchased back in October. Not sure what I was waiting for; other than I was somewhat intimidated by the entire analog experience after all these years. This is the first image taken on an overcast day earlier this week. Sky is effectively gone and I'm not convinced that D76 is the best developer. I may try Rodinal next time to see if it helps with achieving a finer grain.

The negatives from this first roll actually look fairly good. I've got to get a better scanner. The cheesy model I'm borrowing from my dad does not do an adequate job. So far, it appears the camera and film is up to the task - not sure about the photographer. More to come and I get the opportunity.

Had some fun with the RedStar Pilots Association yesterday during their annual formation clinic.

Photoships turning inbound to Falcon Field to pickup the mass formation as it departs and heads to Willie for a couple of low passes.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
