While waiting for the 777 to return to PHX today, caught these guys.

1 & 2: I love prop discs!
3: Hand up to block the setting springtime sun.

This was a tough one to get right at dark, it has a dreamflight sticker, but you cant see it here:

Any idea what the USA VIP jet was doing in PHX this weekend?

Paul Dumm

"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

He was, but he was for his own campaigning, would the govt pay for that type of trip.

C-37A from the 89th Airlift Wing.  Could be any number of VIPs.  Anyone know if there's any brass in town?
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Trying to catch the Delta A330 this morning, I got some more practice on this month's challenge.  Unfortunately, the A330 landed long and I wasn't able to get a shot.  But I was able to catch these guys:

Tried a new location at Sky Harbor today.  Although it was breezy and the temperature seemed pretty cool, there was quite a bit of heat haze for stuff on/near the ground.  Here are some shots showing off the new location.  I'm really liking the reflection of the runway in the AA 737's belly.

Those reflections are very cool.

Only possible on the AA 737's.  The MD-80's would still be trying to get off the ground.
