Jeff,

You have just a touch of tilt shift action with your wet Southwest shots....       I like the images.  :)

Jeff, you sure those aren't model airplanes?

Bill, Anna, and Scott; your kind words are sincerely appreciated. Playing with the tilt-shift filter in post processing is fun and challenging. Trying to decide when to use it and trying to use it judiciously is difficult for me. I've had the most fun with it at PHX. And yes, it often makes the planes look like toys. It looks cool to me  ;D

Jeff, looks cool to me too and definitely makes the primary subject pop. I especially like the one on the bridge.

Thanks Scott. With respect to these two images, my intent was to try and minimize some of the clutter in the foreground and background. I wanted to massage the DOF to (hopefully) separate any distracting elements from the primary subject. When I do it correctly it really does make things POP  ;)

Jeff, Now I know where my toy airplanes went. You best not break them.  ;D
"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."
