+1 John. I remember as a kid going on maneuvers with Dad to Mountain Home AFB. Although they didn't have F-15's then. These poor guys are not picking the best of times to trade their base of operations from Idaho to Arizona; even if it is a short stay  ;)

Thanks, Joe and Jeff.  It was a good time of day to return to DM.

Jeff:  They are only here from North Carolina until the end of June.

I caught this today.  I am unsure if it is related to the wrap-up of Angel Thunder or perhaps foreshadowing future Snowbird activity--or neither.

I think this is the same bird Harvey caught at Luke recently, perhaps they're getting serious about the F-35?  Angel Thunder also has nations that send observers to check out the exercise to see if they want to participate, so they may have been doing some of that too.  Cool catch regardless.
