Now this is my kind of a yard sale. As you previously noted, one of those helo motors would go a long way to putting some punch into the Mormon Meteor  ;)

Seriously, I love the sea of Herc tails in the background. It had to be fairly warm out there young man. Hope you didn't get burned with too much sun  :o 8)

Hi Jeff, it has been 30 years since I was in the boneyard. We rode down in an AF bus that the A/C wasn't working. Coming home at 1 pm with no A/C at all and the bus had to stop 4 times along the highway to reset an alarm that was triggered by something in the engine bay. It took 3 an a half hours to get home along with being stuck in stop and go traffic through central Phoenix. The kids put the windows down and it felt like they were checking to see if the cookies in the oven were done. Never again on an AF bus, the same thing happened to me about three years ago going to Gila Bend ranges with another squadron, I should have learned back then.  :-\

I wonder if this is the one that stupid monkey crashed in that movie "Project X."
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Could that be checked out via the serial number, #67-21469, over the years I've seen some other dumb monkeys flying airplanes. So it is a possibility!   ;D
