Douglas C-54 - A way over processed shot with some resulting artifacts but it reminds me of and old postcard so I like it despite its faults.

Great series of images Scott. Of course, the black and white Connie is excellent. The framing you employed strikes a wonderful balance between the aircraft and the elements. Your position on the B-36 really gives the viewer a unique perspective of this cold war leviathan. The early morning light adds both warmth and soft contrast to a terrific image.

Thanks Jeff!  The B-36 shot is cropped a bit tighter than I'd like but that was the limit of my lens and position.  Some of the other shots in the series were stitched together to get around that limitation.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Sir Scott, your b&w images from PASM are always a treat. The cloud formations add a special touch. Are these primarily taken during the summer monson season. If so, you are a brave and hearty shooter. Well done sir.

Thank you Jeff!  The Skyhawk, which I reposted after your comments, was taken on January 19th (yesterday).  The EC-121 was indeed taken during the monsoon a few years ago.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Thanks Matt!  It was great to see you and Ashley as well.  The high thin clouds actually ended up being somewhat advantageous.
