Very nice shots Jay.
So what were you in at the time?  Were you shooting thru windows or open?

I shot the Stinson from the Bobcat and the Bobcat from the Stinson.

Just changed rides on each leg.

Beautiful shots Jay.  The morning sunlight really provided some beautiful mountain tones to the background.

Jay Beckman

Thanks Vance!  Not quite as dramatic as the first air to air sessions but certainly a worthwhile ride along...

Color "Painterly" Treatment

Monochrome Version*

* It was interesting to find out that many of the tones in the Stinson matched the tones in the rocks when converted to B&W.
Proof that not every image is a 100% sure thing for black & white.

Between Rocks and a Hard Place

Very nice shot!  I see the Rocks, so does that make you the Hard Place?

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.
