Venting a little fuel
Where is it venting it from? I was under the impression that the fuel dump vent was located closer to the right wing tip, past the aileron.

It appears to be coming from the right wing tank.  The F15 that departed just ahead of this one was venting some fuel and it got in the afterburner plume and made a large quick burst of orange flame, not all that unusual.

Very nice, Jay.

What were you shooting with body-wise back then?
"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

EXIF should be intact but IIRC, it shoud be either my 1DMkIII or 40D.

Lens was 300mm f/2.8 L w/ or w/out TCs.
