Did anyone get or know the air force numbers of the Thunderbird F-16s at Luke this last weekend. I know they change from time to time. I would like to id them by something other than 1,2,3,4,5,6.

I would like to know that too, Bill. I sent an email to the Thunderbirds asking about them. I'll let you know if they respond.

I read somewhere that the last three digits of the serial are painted on the side of the ejection seat, but that's kind of hard to see.

Unless there have been any airframe changes between the 2010 and 2011 seasons, this should be current.

This is what they were reported to have been at the November, 2010 show at Nellis, but from what I have been reading, they have several spare airframes and they do sometimes bring different ones to a show.

They change within the squadron as well.

In fact 8 became 2 for Saturday's performance...!
