The rules for this photo challenge are;

1.  This month's theme is "Parts is Parts"  The picture should be taken of any aircraft (military, commercial, general aviation) that best represents aviation but WITHOUT showing the whole aircraft.  ONLY PHOTOS TAKEN BETWEEN JUNE 24th and JULY 23rd WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION.  Please keep this in mind.

2.  One photo per member (you can change your photo as many times as you like until the deadline).

3.  Photos should be uploaded directly to the "Photo Challenge" thread for the current contest (this thread).

4.  All photos must be submitted to the Photo Challenge thread no later than 11:59pm Arizona (GMT-07) time on July 23rd.  Voting will begin on July 24th and close August 1st.  Any photos posted after the deadline will be deleted from the thread and not eligible for consideration.  You can only vote for one photo and it cannot be your own.

5.  The winning photographer will select the theme for the next assignment.  Keep in mind that assignments that are aircraft- or airport-specific may limit the ability of other members to participate.

6.  Have fun and be safe!

Should have know that Jay would come up with one like this. ;D
"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

The fly in this weekend should be a great opportunity to get some good qualifying shots

Jay Beckman

I'll take credit for being the cause but Rob gets credit for suggesting the theme.

Yes, This one is going to be fun. I see a road trip to Tucson in the next week or two.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

You don't concentrate on risks. You concentrate on results. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.
