The Vigilante was one beautifully sleek bird when it was flying...fast too.  The problem was that it took 1000 hours of maintenance for every 10 hours of flying...an exaggeration, but not too far from the truth.  It sure was a beautiful aircraft and is still beautiful even when placed on sticks.

Wow David you found the Duncan '100' ,I must have spent 2 hours one day looking for that plane on Google Earth and from the looks of it theres not much around ,great find kinda like a diamond in the rough

I did use CS5 and the "content aware" function.  It probably removed 90% of the pole in one go.

Couldn't have asked for better light, but a good, unobstructed angle on this thing is impossible to get.  I noticed floodlights on the ground nearby - perhaps an after-dark long exposure shot would minimize some of the background crizzap?
