Holy **** Scott thats super cool, looks like he ready for a rave with his glowsticks plus thats the FIRST Harrier I have seen with the Lightning pod on the centerline pylon
I have to be honest (well I suppose I don't have to be), but the formation lights are the product of my imagination.  Thus the "Fantasy Flight" title.  I have shot Harriers in the dark but they didn't come out quite this clean!  All in fun.  Thanks in any case!

Man, you really nailed those slime lights, I never would have guessed those weren't actually activated in this shot.  Cool processing too.  It looks like the "night" scenes in older movies and TV shows.

Chris, the centerline LITENING has been around for a while, and I believe the Cherry Point squadrons were the first to get the upgrade.  We'll see it on Yuma birds at Willie birds every now and then, but it looks like it's still not universal.

Thanks Joe!  Funny that you would mention the old movie "night" shot look.  That's exactly what I thought. Kinda works.  All I did was drag the curves down in the middle and bump up the shadows a tad.  The fact that the photo was backlit helped.  I doubt that I spent more than 15 minutes on it.

Thanks Chris! Although not actually taken at night this image is a lot less altered than many of my monochrome shots where I've used Photoshop plugins.

Thanks Jay!  Took me a few seconds to connect "stellar" with the night shot!

Harrier with Boat Markings. The stars on the tail indicate this is a VMA-214 "Blacksheep" aircraft. It has a YO tail code and markings for HMM-268 Red Dragons and the USS Makin Island.

Nice catch Ned, not the usual markings on a Yuma Harrier.
