The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

You don't concentrate on risks. You concentrate on results. No risk is too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.

NASA's Douglas DC-9-32 N932NA served as a weather pathfinder for the the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft the brought Space Shuttle Endeavour to Edwards air Force base on September 20.. The pathfinder flies ahead of the 747-SCA to observe weather conditions, particularly turbulence and rain.

NASA's Douglas DC-9-32 N932NA took off from Runway 04 Right at 8:29 AM on September 21, 2012, fourteen minutes after the 747 carrying Space Shuttle Endeavour took off.

Had some more fun early this evening, trying to catch aircraft that pass directly overhead while on approach into Sky Harbor.  This evening's catch included this little gem, courtesy of American Airlines.
