Another one at Boston. On the radio the pilot commented, "Northwest XXX in Delta Colors for 4R."

NW/Delta charter bringing the Green Bay Packers back to the Valley to play the Arizona Cardinals (again), this time for the NFC Wild Card.

The A330 that took the Cardinals out for their ill-fated playoff game against the Saints.

A Delta A330-300 came into Sky Harbor late this morning.  Normally scheduled as a 757, Delta is flying this flight as an A330 this today and tomorrow.  Spring Break?

I was guessing Spring Training.  Are the Twins in the Valley as part of the Cactus League?

Either that or Delta is trying to take business from BA (LHR -> MSP -> PHX) when the cabin crew goes on strike.

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

Delta (ding, ding) arriving (any Navy vets out there?)

One verrrry wide wing...that will float quite a long way down the runway.  Sort of like the Energizer bunny, it seemed to just keep going and going...and going...before finally settling on all of the mains.
