I've been trying to get you guys together for a trip for a year now.

What's it take to make it happen?

The biggest thing for me is time off from work.  I just started a new job in November, and I have already take over a week off for my trip to Ireland and other things.

"Mutha" f'ing awesome!  That's one squadron that I have loved since the first time I watched The Final Countdown.

The photos are fantastic, looks like it was a lot of fun!  This is one place that I would love to go one of these days.

Pick a date you want to go....  If you have company great, if not make it a solo roadtrip.

Sometimes you just have to take command and make it happen.   ;D ;D ;D

Anna is correct. That is exactly what I did and I am so happy I did.

Congratulations Ned on your tremendous, and amazing Star Wars Canyon aviation photography series.

Seconded.  Hard to pick a favorite, Ned.

Did you spend most of your time there in one location, or did you check out different spots along the Canyon?

If you shot from a few spots, did you have a favorite?

Joe: I planned my trip based upon Isaac Lebowitz"s article in Aviation Photography Digest. I started out at Father Crowley Point and then headed down the dirt road on the south side of the parking lot. A high clearance vehicle is preferred for this rough road. I was there 4 days and stoped at multiple locations along the dirt road.

Well done, Ned!

Which day seemed to yield the best results? I know it's quite random, but trying to get a mathematical feel for the best chances!
