When I was at PASM yesterday I noticed the wings and vertical stabilizer of an English Electric Lightning sitting on blocks outside restoration. I'm assuming the fuselage and other parts are somewhere inside. That will be a nice addition.

Very nice Bill. It looks like it's covered in deep camouflage. Your photo makes it look as thought it's still in motion, despite the missing parts.
BTW, I was there yesterday as well.

Were you standing on the B-24?  ;D  I didn't see anything else in that hanger that would provide this perspective.  Also seems that the dorsal turret and guns are in a different position.  Nice shot.

Thank you!  That photo was taken during 2007 from a lift while I was working on the book they sell at the museum that covers the history of the aircraft in their collection.
