I'm at Pima weekly, thought I pass on a bit of news.

I saw it Friday but was notified today officially that there's an MH-53M Pave Low IV 73-1649 now at Pima. Funny how I arrived at Lakenheath just as they were leaving Mildenhall and now we're both in Tucson! Currently sitting outside the restoration hanger. I thought I saw some more "stuff" behind the fence, I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know if there's anything else interesting.

Also, construction is underway on the new hanger so some large areas behind hanger 1 are fenced off but not restricting access to a/c. The Harrier AV-8C is out of resto and back on display looking quite fine as well.

The Panavia Tornado is now on display in very nice Marineflieger livery. It is located next to the MiG-29 by hanger #2 (Admin building).

MiG-23 is still outside of restoration hanger (minus wings/tail/nose).

Nose is back on the B-58, MH-53 is MIA possibly in the resto hanger.

Did they get a new, re-inflated tire for the nose gear on the Hustler?

Bummer.   Nothing like a nice head on shot with that nice long pitot tube stickin' out there and a big ol' flat nose tire.

Actually I think there's one tire on the front gear with the other side supported by a wood block. Equally as unappealing though...

Sweet!  I understand that comes with the territory with outdoor air museums, but it's just kind of a bummer when you see it.
