Solar Impulse 2, HI-SIB, on crosswind for Runway 21, Phoenix Goodyear Airport. #solarimpulse

I was set up on the extended centerline of runway 3, just southeast of MC 85 and Estrella Parkway. Solar Impulse came over head on its crosswind and turned on all its lights.

The wind was just barely blowing up from the south. Allowed them to give all the spectators a good look as it did it's downwind along Bullard and base along Yuma. There where tons of people north and west of the runway.

That's a really great shot of the landing!  We went to the open house today.  The technology of the Solar Impulse is pretty amazing!
