The photo of the A-10 shooting the gun is Jay's.

Unfortunately, it's been serially pilfered, with someone along the line cropping it to remove Jay's watermark and a ton of people reposting that version of the shot all over the web.  I did a google image search for it earlier and it yielded something like 70 discrete links - not a single one of them back to Jay's site or anywhere else he posts like here or Fred MIranda.  Also looks like several people have taken it upon themselves to edit the shot, with several appearing to look up-resed pretty severely, killing the image quality on a lot of the versions of it out there.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't take photos of that aircraft."

"If you've seen my work, you'd know I really can't take photos of any aircraft."

Better that it no longer bears Jay's name then.

Jay, any plans on tossing watermarks across entire images to prevent this sort of thing? I know it sucks for folks like us, but it would keep the scumbags from ripping off your stuff.

Been away for a while...

Um, I honestly don't know what to do anymore.  There's so much content on the web that unless you're making money on the front end, there's really no money to be made after pressing the shutter.  I've pretty much given up hope of ever garnering any significant recognition for my efforts.

I only shoot now because I like to shoot.
