This is a great series on what few will ever experience.  Years ago, I spent a night on the Tarawa, an amphibious assault ship .  Unfortunately, flight operations were viewed from afar.  If only I had had a Go Pro when I was aboard, and jumping out of, various Air Force and Army aircraft.

I'm going to add a few on behalf of my nice who is out on the USS Stennis as part of one of her Summer cruise for the USNA. They were taken with an iPhone so please give her a small brake.
