Thanks, it's a neat place to shoot and hard to do because of all the people wandering around. I want to go back and shoot it again some time.

Don't know if it really works or not but I kind of dig it.

I had a chance to play with Canon's 65mm MP-E lens, their dedicated 1-5x macro.

The pressure setting dial on an altimeter at 2x or 3x.

The grooves in a vinyl record at ~4x.

At the right angle, the grooves refracted the light from my flash.

Peacock feather at 4 or 5x.

Jeff Welker and I passed this joint in Gila Bend on the way back from San Diego.  Just had to stop and shoot it in the late afternoon light.

Jay I like the feel of that photo.  Joe, Did you finally find the custom function that allows the shutter to release on non aviation subjects?   ;D  Also  very nice photo Joe!
