The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend, he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

CARGO CLASSIC

Been after this one for a while, finally made the trip out to catch it after a sinus infection kept me up all night.  Still not the shot I was after - it showed up almost fifteen minutes earlier than Flightaware said it would, so I was totally unprepared.

Convair 580s are among my favorites.  Frontier used to fly them here and they were always fun to see.  Love those big square tipped props.

Same here.  I've always liked this "class" of aircraft, along with the older Convairs and the Martin 404.

Finally I was able to get up to PHX for a little bit. I spent a fair amount of time at home learning the focus system on the 7D and making some adjustments. Despite the fact that on Sunday morning the sky was a mixed bag I'm feeling better about the results.

ZeroG 727 returning to Sky Harbor early - and trying to fake out all of the photographers.
