A-10C - I have to admit that I didn't do my best shooting this day.  I was too intent on getting the whole aircraft in the frame an consequently had many tiny A-10s lost in a big sky.  I did better on the previous outing with some of my best shots being tighter compositions, not always by choice but I was using a fixed 500mm part of the time.  The Nikon 200-400mm would be a nice lens for this venue.  I don't think my wife really needs her car...

This was taken with the ancient (but very practical) Canon 100-400mm on an EOS-1D Mark IV body.

This is a cool shot. Bringing in the ground and mountains in the background is great. Can you maybe pull out more of the mountains?
