This was taken by my mom while my cub scout pack watched from the tarmac at Wright Patterson AFB. Though I remember loving aircraft before living in OH, events like this and practically living at the museum were what really spurred on my interest in aviation.

That's cool.  I remember I saw one of the shuttles piggy-back once in Tucson in the late 80's.  I was at the UofA and was walking to class when I heard the loudest straining jet engine howls.  It looked like it stopped at DM for some reason and was slowly climbing out.  It looked so slow...
